ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Age : 

a).Date of Birth Block : Candidate born between 01-01-2005 and  01-07-2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply. 

b). In case, a candidate clears, all the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years. 

Educational Qualification :

a) Science Subjects : 

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 /Equivalent examination with Mathematics, physics  and English from Education Boardsrecognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in  aggregate and 50% marks in English. 

• Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical /Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) form Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate (Metriculation.If English is not a subject in Diploma Course). 

      Other than Science Subjects :

• Passed intermediates /10+2 /Equivalent Examination in any stream / subjects from Education Boards recognized byCentral, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in subject in Vacational Course). 

        Mandatory Medical Standards

a) Height : 

1] Male - 152 cms

2]Female - 152 cms/ 147 cms (Uttarakhand) 

          150 cms - Lakshadweep. 

b) Weight - Weight should beproportionate to height and age as application for IAF. 

c) Chest :

1] Male Candidates - 77 cms and the chest examination should be expansion of 05 cms. 

2]Female candidates - The chest wall should be well proportioned with minimum range of expansion be of 05 cms. 

3] Run - 1.6 Km

   Male : Within - 07 min. 

   Female :within - 08 min. 

4] 10 push-ups - in 1 min. (10 min break on completion of run) 

10 Sit-ups - 01 min  - 02 minutes break. 

20 Squants - 01 min - Test will be conducted after 02 minutes break on completion of 10 Sit-ups. 

  

        SEQUENCE OF EXAMINATION

ONLINE TEST :

a) Science subjects - Physics,  Mathematics and English as per 10+2  CBSC syllabus. 

- Duration : 60 minutes. 

b) Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA) 

-Duration : 60 minutes. 

c) Physics, Mathematicsand English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA) . 

- Duration : 85 min. 

d) Marking pattern for Online teat -

  1] One mark for every correct answer 

2] Nil (0) marks for Unattempted question

  3]0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

How To Apply :

• Candidates are to fill ONLINE Application by logging on to http;//agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

• During online registration, the following documents are to be uploaded as application by respective candidates. 

a) Class 10th /matriculation passing certificate. 

b) Chosen Domicile Certificate/COAFP Certificate as mentioned in pata 8.

c) Intermediate/Matriculation marks sheet. 

    OR

•   3 years Engineering Diploma Final Year Marks sheet (if applying on the basis of 3 years Engineering Diploma from a Govt. recongnised polytechnic in prescribed stream) and Intermediate/Matriculation marks sheet (If English is not a subject in Diploma Course). 

                    OR

•    2 years Vacational course marks sheet of non-vocational course with subject English, Physics and Mathematics. 

C) Higher education Qualifications/Additional skill certificates, if any. 

d) Passport size recent colour photography (taken not before November 2024) of size 10 KB to 50 KB ( front portrait in light background without facemask and head gear except for Sikhs), The photography is to be taken with candidates holding a black slate in front of his/her chest with his/her names and date of photography taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Changes in appearance like growing beard. Head gear etc, in comparison to the  photography may results in cancellation of candidates for STAR online examination and Phase-2. 

e) Candidate's left hand thumb impression image

f) Candidate's signature image

g) Candidate's parents (Father/Mother) /Guardian's signature image ( if candidates is below 18 years on the date of filling the online application) 

Examination Fee :

Examination fee of Rs. 550/-plus GST is to be paid online by the candidates while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/Credit /Internet Banking through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the Instructions/steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep transaction details for their records.
