DIRECT ENTRY HAVILDAR  AND NAIB SUBEDAR (SPORTS)

How to Apply :

Application Form. The application form is to be submitted on A4 size paper only as per give format. only one application form is tk be forwarded candidate who send more than one application for the same entry will be disqualified. Forms to be download from internet www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Eligibility Criteria : 

a) Direct Entry Havildar - 

Age :17 1/2 to 25 years. 

( Date of Birth 31-03-2000 to 01-04-2025 ) 

Physical & Medical Standards : As per Service norms. 

Educational Qualification : Minimum education will be matriculation. 

Sports Achievement : The selection will be made from out those who have respresented as under in any of the sports and games specified as above ;-

(aa) Individual should be a Medalist at Junior / Senior level by representing Sate in National competitions or have represented country at International level ( Indl event). 

(Ab) Individual should have represented a state or Country in National or International competitions at Junior/Senior level (Term event) 

(ac) Individual should be a Medalist in Khelo India Games & Khelo India Youth Games & Khelo India university games. 

b) Direct Entry Naib Subedar :

• Age : 17 1/2 to 25 years . 

Physical & Medical Standards : As per Service norms. 

• Educational Qualification :Minimum educational qualification will be matriculation. 
• Sports Achievements :

(aa) Individual should be winner of any medal in world Championship / Asian Championships. 

(ab) Individual should be winner of any medal in Asian Games. 

(ac) Individual should be winner of medal CWG/World Cup. 

(ad) Represented India twice in Asian Games / Commonwealth Games /World Cup. 

(ae) Represented India  in Olympics. 

C) Women Direct Entry Havildar / Main Subedar : Women who meet the above mentioned QR  similar to male candidate may apply.

• Only unmarried male & female candidate will be eligible for enrolment as Direct Entry Havildar & Naib Subedar (sports).

a) Height

b). weight ; 

• Proportionate to height & as Army Medical Standards. 

c). Chest Expansion : 

The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cms. 

• Physical Fitness Test :
• 1.6 Km Run

• 9 Feet Ditch

• Need to qualify in 5:45 Sec:Need to qualify

• Zig - Zag Balance - Need to Qualify. 

Physical Standards (Female) 

a). Height : 162 Cms

b). Weight : Proportionate to height age per Army Medical Standards. 

c) Chest Expansion. 

Running : Need to qualify in 8 min . 

10 Feet Long Jump : Need to qualify . 

3 Feet High Jump : Need to qualify. 

Selection Procedure

The application format is given at the end of this advertisement. The selection procedure is as follows :

a) Application will be received only through Post/offline.

b) Short-Listing criteria will be based on higher sports achievements. 

c) Call up letters to eligible short listed candidates will be sent through email, indicating data, time and place for selection trials. 

d) All original certificate and marksheet are to be produced at the of selection trial. 

e) Candidates declared Medically Temporary Unifit in the recruitment medicals can appeal for Specialist review from the specified Military hospital within a maximum period of 21 days. Ni further review appeal is permissible.
