CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAMINATION :

    All candidates are required to carefully read the Rules of Civil Service Examination notified by the Government {Department of Personnel and Training} and this Notice of Examination derived from these Rules. The Candidates applying for the the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of e-Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. The Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test. 

How To Apply :

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website http://upsconline, gov.in.It is essential for the applicants to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform,available on the Commission's website, and to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the Online Application for the examination. 

Eligibility Conditions :

a) Nationality : 

1) For the Indian Administration  Service, the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizens of India. 

2) For other services, a candidate must be either :-

a) a citizen of India, or

b) a subject of Nepal, or

c) a subject of Bhutan, or

d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1 st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently setting in India, or

e) a person of India origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambai, Malwai, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India. 

Age Limit :

1] A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1 st of August, 2025 i. e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1993 and not later than 1 st August, 2004.

Examination Fee : 

Candidates (Expect Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branches of State Bank of India by cash or by using net banking facility of any banj Or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Delhi Credit/UPI Payment . 

How to Fill IAS  and IFS Preliminary Online Exam Form :

•  To apply for the Civil Services and Forest Services Recruitment_2025 in UPSC, it will be mandatory for the candidate to do One Time Registration OTR.
